Picking out STUFF! Here's the crazy list from our builder...You don't really think about how much you have to pick out until you build your own home.

The list looks like this:


EXTERIORS & INTERIORS
1) Roofing-check-Salt & Pepper Black like color
2) Siding-check-Light Gray
3) Soffit-check, although I don't really even remember what this is
4) Fascia-Check-have no clue what this is either but I know we picked it...
5) Exterior Doors-check-this was an upgrade we went with a fiberglass door by Therma-Tru! It is bad ass--It will look SIMILAR to the Fiber Classic Mahogany. I like my good friend the Savvy Suburbanite love front doors, so it is worth every penny.

We went to this place, they laughed at us and told us we didn't need to pick anything for months. So they gave us driving tours of houses they have done in neighborhoods all around Chicago-land and NWI. So now we get to look like stalkers driving slowly past people's homes and taking photos. Hard Surfaces & Carpet

1) WOOD-Throughout first floor
2) Carpet-bedrooms, hallways, stairs-(necessary evil)
3) Tile-well considering I want tile throughout both the MASTER & 2nd Floor Bath this will take a while.

CUSTOM PAINT COLORS
We negotiated for this with our builder, maybe I will have my readers help me do this when the time comes!

So we have picked out a lot of crap finishes...mainly because my work schedule is looking pretty busy in January/February.
